Project Delivery Manager (12 month Fixed Term Contract)

Modus are looking for an experienced Project Delivery manager to join our offices in Darlington on a 12 month fixed term contract.

The successful candidate will be primarily responsible for leading and managing the implementation of a Business Management IT System across the business. The PDM will be key to successfully implementing the software on time, in full and within budget. The role requires negotiation and execution of the project plan in conjunction with the third-party supplier, key stakeholders, departmental heads and staff.

With a preferred degree and Prince 2 Qualification, the ideal candidate will have strong hands on experience of implementing a business software system and a minimum of 3 years’ previous project management experience.

Crewing & HR Administrator

An opportunity has arisen for an experienced administrator to join our offices in Darlington. The role will be responsible for delivering effective and comprehensive administration support for both the Crew & Logistics and HR Departments.

The post holder will assist with the implementation and ongoing monitoring of the Company’s Training & Development strategy across the two departments whilst ensuring that all relevant certification is on file and in date.

With previous experience in an administrative role, the successful candidate will be a confident communicator with excellent interpersonal and communication skills. They will be proactive in approach and work well as both part of a team or individually using own initiative.

Strong organisational and time management skills coupled with the ability to work under pressure are also a pre-requisite for the position.

Electrical Technician – MMB Apprentice

As part of the Company’s continued growth strategy, an opportunity now exists for an apprentice to join our Marine Base in Middlesbrough. Through work experience, studying, training and development (both practical and vocational), the successful candidate will complete a course of study and obtain an HNC qualification in Electrical Engineering.

The role will carry out work allocated to a high standard and ensure that it is conducted in a safe, organised and controlled manner. Their work will be in strict compliance with Health & Safety policies and procedures and in accordance with Operating manuals and Company procedures.

The successful candidate will be a confident communicator with excellent interpersonal and communication skills. GCSE grade C to E in Science, Maths and English are essential for the role and strong technical skills, coupled with the ability to work under pressure are also pre-requisites for the position.

Logistics & Procurement Co-ordinator

Modus are looking to recruit an experienced Logistics and Procurement Coordinator to join our offices in Middlesbrough. The successful candidate will be primarily responsible for the coordination and administration of the Company’s Logistic Operations. The role will also ensure that all aspects of the procurement process are adhered to liaising with suppliers, obtaining quotations for equipment and services for the Marine Base and mobilizations, including placing requisitions in accordance with Company procedures.

The successful candidate will preferably hold a CILT or CIPS qualification and will have strong hands-on experience of using business software system ideally within an operations environment.

Previous Logistics and Procurement Experience is essential, along with extensive knowledge of Microsoft Office 2016.
