Commissioning Engineer – January 2018

Modus is looking to recruit a Commissioning Engineer to join our team based at our Marine Base in Middlesbrough. This is a new role which will take responsibility for the day to day supervision of the Marine Base Facility and will support thorough testing and inspection of assets during the preparation of equipment. The successful candidate will provide an electrical authority onsite and will ensure that the tasks set by the asset team in office are completed in a timely manner and to a high standard.

The ideal candidate must be familiar with good working practices and have a strong appreciation for and a proactive approach towards Health & Safety.

Full qualifications within the respective trade and extensive experience in leading a team is essential for the role, as is experience in electro mechanical systems and electrical testing and fault rectification.

Stores Assistant – January 2018

Modus is also looking to recruit a Stores Assistant to join our team based at our Marine Base in Middlesbrough. This role will provide support to third party stores and logistics to ensure correct and complete stores management. The ideal candidate will have experience working in Stores and a strong understanding of stores management systems.

Survey Project Manager – November 2017

An opportunity has arisen for an experienced Survey Project Manager to join our offices in Darlington. The successful candidate will be required to act as the focal point for all client project interfaces, strongly managing safety, commercial and reputation risk issues and working co-operatively and productively with internal and external partners to ensure maximum use of project resources, technical integrity, operational efficiency, quality assurance, and safe successful completion of projects (trenching, construction and other intervention operations).

With a (preferred) degree or equivalent qualification and from an offshore / subsea related industry background, the ideal candidate will hold full responsibility for P&L, safety, quality and performance targets for the project, the candidate will be responsible for implementation and execution of all the principles and actions associated to this position, i.e.:
